Display and Store Your Vinyl Record Stocking

Quick Answer

Display your vinyl record stocking by hanging it from a sturdy hook or nail, and store it flat in a cool, dry place when not in use.

Step-by-Step Display and Storage Guide

1. Choose the Right Hanging Spot: Use a sturdy hook or nail that can support the weight of the stocking plus a vinyl record. Avoid weak adhesive hooks that may fail. Check that the hook is securely anchored before hanging.
2. Insert the Record Carefully: Slide the vinyl record into the stocking gently, making sure the record is centered and not forced. The stocking is designed to fit LPs, but avoid overstuffing with multiple records. Never cram the stocking; it may stretch or tear the fabric.
3. Store Flat in a Cool, Dry Place: When the holiday season is over, remove any records and fold the stocking loosely. Store it flat in a drawer or box away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture. Avoid hanging the empty stocking for long-term storage to prevent dust buildup and fabric stress.
