The Super Mario Galaxy Movie CD Soundtrack
Category: CDs
How do you follow up on one of the most acclaimed, successful animated films of all time? If you’re the team at Back Lot Music, Universal Pictures, Illumination and Nintendo, the answer is simple: Take it to the stars.
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie launches Mario and friends into outer space for an all-new adventure. It’s the kind of bombastic super-sequel that made so many of us fall in love with the cinema as children; awe-inspiring, eye-widening, stardust-fueled movie magic that must be seen to be believed.
The soundtrack, too, is just as epic. The film’s returning composer, Emmy Nominee Brian Tyler, has taken the beloved bops of the first film's incredible score to new interstellar heights. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie score is a full-blown auditory expedition, packed with joyful references and respectful nods to Nintendo’s original compositions by Koji Kondo.
iam8bit is honored to bring it to you here, mastered specifically for listening perfection. This is The Super Mario Galaxy Movie CD Soundtrack, two discs packed with melodic genius. We’ve adorned discs 1 and 2 with Mario Red and Luigi Green labels, respectively. We just can’t get enough of those bros.!
The album art, expertly adapted for CD format by our friend Scott Saslow, captures all the galactic glory of the smash hit movie itself. In short, it’s everything you loved about The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, available for your stereo.
