Battletoads: Smash Hits 2xLP

The gatefold art on this is genuinely gorgeous, way nicer than I expected for a video game soundtrack release. Both records spin clean with barely any surface noise, and the track sequencing across the two LPs actually flows really well. Worth every penny for anyone who grew up with these tunes.

The gatefold art is genuinely gorgeous, and the two records split the soundtrack nicely between the darker and lighter tracks. Only gripe is that one disc had a bit of surface noise on the first spin, but a quick clean sorted it out.

The split between the two records makes sense for casual listening, but the track sequencing feels a bit uneven on side B. Pressing quality is decent with only light surface noise, though I expected a little more from a 2xLP at this price.
